The Black Box C6PC70S-RD-07 is a Gigatrue 3 patch cable built to the Category 6 specification and equipped with shielding that defends your network against EMI and RFI interference. At seven feet long, it is sized just right for switch-to-patch-panel connections, and the red jacket makes each run easy to spot in a crowded rack.

Engineers at Black Box test every cable to 250 MHz to guarantee dependable 1 Gbps throughput for voice, data, audio or video traffic, as well as Power over Ethernet devices. Inside the SFTP construction, a tinned copper braid works with the foil wrap to keep signals clean, while 50-micron gold-plated contacts maintain solid conductivity over thousands of insertions.

The integrated LockPORT boot and plug give administrators an option to secure a port physically when uptime or compliance policies demand it.
